How long does it take?

The full process takes about four hours: two to heat up and two to cool down.

Will it affect the sound?

The machine heats only the outer edge and center of the record, not the grooves, so their shape is preserved.

What records can't be flattened?

SP records, heavy-weight records (DF-01IA+ can handle some), and flexi discs aren't supported, and styrene records can't be flattened.

When will it ship?

Each unit is made to order in Japan, so allow up to three weeks for delivery.
