This model is based on the SL-1200MK7/SL-1210MK7 DJ models from the SL-1200 turntable series, which have sold over 3.5 million units to date. The functions of the SL-1200M7B are similar to those of the SL-1200MK7/SL-1210MK7 models, but the design is influenced by Lamborghini's iconic Y-shape. The design features three colors that are inspired by three classic Lamborghini colors: Arancio Apodis, Verde Shock, and Giallo Athon.

Those who purchase the SL-1200M7B will receive an exclusive vinyl record that features the powerful engine and driving sounds of five flagship V12 Lamborghini models, specially recorded for this purpose. The vinyl is a picture disc that displays an image of a tire from Lamborghini's latest model, the Revuelto. Customers can enjoy listening to the engine sounds as the tire spins on the turntable.
