The Donuts are 7" control mats that let you scratch and juggle 45s on any full-size turntable, made in Japan. Lay a 12" record on the platter, set The Donuts on top, and put your 7" on the mat. The grippy mat locks the 45 to the 12" underneath, so you scratch, juggle and cue using the 12" while the 7" plays. A pair in black/blue.

  • Play 45s like a 12". You move the full-size record underneath, so you get more surface for your hands and more control than handling a small 7" directly.
  • Non-slip on both sides. Grips the 12" below and the 7" above so they move together.
  • Three-layer build that absorbs vibration. Special adhesive layers between grippy top and bottom faces help prevent skipping and damp vibration for cleaner playback.
  • Featherweight and warp-resistant. Ultra-light, made from a material that won't warp, with heat-treated, anti-static construction.
  • Pair, made in Japan. One for each deck.

The mat in the video is a different color, but it works the same way.

How to use

  1. Put a 12" record on your slipmat as usual.
  2. Lay The Donuts on top of the 12".
  3. Place your 7" on The Donuts. For large-hole 45s, use a 45 adapter (not included).
  4. Scratch, juggle and cue by moving the 12" record underneath.

Note: The Donuts is a grip mat, not a slipmat. It's designed to hold the record in place, not let it slide. To restore grip, wipe dust off the surface with a damp towel. Store flat or in the case, and don't fold, bend or roll it.
