Originally released on April 21, 1990, Pagoda marked Junko’s 14th album during her time at Epic Records. This iconic record features collaborations with some of Japan’s finest talents, including lyricist Ryu Machiko, composer Ken Sato, and arrangers Nobuyuki Shimizu, Akira Inoue, and Tetsu Nakamura. Carefully selected by DJ CHINTAM (author of Wamono AtoZ), this album is an absolute gem that captures the essence of Japan’s golden era of City Pop.
